Samsung Galaxy S 2 for Sprint Spotted inside the Wild?

Which will likely be the word that people of you who have been awaiting a U.S. version of the Samsung Galaxy S II will shout out after viewing these pictures. ThisIsMyNext has scored 2 pictures of a phone that’s purportedly the Samsung Galaxy S II for Sprint aka Galaxy Within making this initially that we’ve seen one of these gadgets in the wild.

Long ago when, we heard that the Samsung galaxy s II would be headed to the U.S. as the Within on Sprint, Attain on AT&T and Function Verizon and also, since then, only AT&T’s device has released. It’s also led many including myself to question whether or otherwise the phone would ever come to the usa. These images aren’t verification of that, but they are a superb sign that a release may be getting closer.

Samsung Galaxy S 2

As you can tell, the phone obviously resembles the Galaxy S II and has both a Samsung and Sprint logo alongside the 8MP camera. The pictures reveal little else but it seems as though those wanting to get this phone can finally breathe a little easier. It’s also evidently running Android 2.3.4 out of the box, so expect Google Talk video chat on board when they get it.

By betting on the CDMA and WiMAX network systems, US Sprint has generated some problems for their customers who want international access. The mobile phones designed for Sprints network are not operational with GSM networks, with the large most of mobile networks (a lot more than 80%) using this technology.

The Motorola Photon 4G, revealed on the 15th of July, has tried to address this issue by offering CDMA/EV-DO and GSM/EDGE compatibility, along with access to Sprints WiMAX very fast mobile network which is becoming deployed in the United States

A range of accessories will allow you to exploit the entertainment options while also using it to improve productivity on the road (keyboard, dock, recharge options, protection cases…). The Motorola Photon 4G will be offered at Sprint the 31st of July for199 .99 dollars when taking a subscription.

Sprint’s Motorola Titanium smartphone getting July 24th for $149.99

Sprint’A drip document acquired by SprintFeed shows that Sprint will launch the “Motorola Titanium“, an Android cell phone with a full QWERTY keyboard, on July 24th for $149.99.

Motorola Titanium

The Titanium isn’t any secret as Motorola officially introduced it in May, but the company didn’t provide costs or launch details in those days. The device supports push-to-talk and offers a military-grade ruggedized design that’s resistant to dust, shock, vibration, low pressure, solar radiation, high temps, and low temperatures. It’s designed with a 3.1-inch touchscreen display along with a 5-megapixel digital camera, but sadly only runs Android 2.1 (Eclair). The price and date aren’t official just yet, but $149.99 seems about right to us.

Sprint Nexus S 4G To obtain a “Software Update” to Fix 4G Issues

Some time ago, Sprint released their very own version of the Nexus S, with WiMAX support dubbed as the Nexus S 4G. Nevertheless, the device had one major flaw. More often than not, the phone had difficulty connecting to Sprint’s 4G network or even a Wi-Fi network. This issue did upset a lot of NS 4G owners, but it seemed like Sprint didn’t care.

Thank goodness, Sprint did notice the issue and is lastly going to release a application update for the Nexus S 4G. The program update will solve the radio issues; along with enhancing some features of the NS 4G. Software program update will bump the Android build to GRJ90, and improve the Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity of the phone.

Along with this, the update will even include support for NFC Secure Element, that is required for the upcoming Google Wallet service. A 4G settings widget, NI Push support may also be on-board, post the update. The signal strength indicators have also been tuned in this update.

Sprint Nexus S 4G Software Update

Sprint will begin pushing the update to all Nexus S 4G handsets, beginning from 7th of July, and expects to finish the roll-out by the next four days.
