The Android HTC Radar has made its way onto UK mobile website “Orange UK” in the “Coming Soon” section. While no timeline is given for availability, it is a good sign that release is imminent. With a 3.8″ screen, 1GHz processor, and 5MP camera, it is meant to be a lower-price point to its overgrown counterpart, the Titan, and was shown to be a little behind it when the two were put through their paces recently. That being said, the Radar still proved to be a pretty nice addition to the HTC WP7 lineup when we took a look at it hands-on.

HTC Runnymede 4.7-inch Android smartphone leaked

The very first press picture of the “HTC Runnymede” has appeared which is one gigantic phone. It sports an enormous 4.7-inch display much like those of the “HTC Titan”, that has been revealed for that Windows Phone 7 platform. The Runnymede, however, will include Android 2.3 Gingerbread and it is enveloped within an all-whitened chassis using the four standard Android touch buttons.

However, the HTC Runnymede may also pack a big price tag. It’s tipped to be priced at 530 pounds or about $838 off-contract for the 16GB model and 560 pounds or $885 off-contract for the 32GB model. Specific dates for launch are still unknown but more details may surface at the upcoming HTC event in NYC on September 20, when the HTC Bliss and HTC Vigor will likely be announced.
