LG Optimus 3D’s Video Saving Knocked up a Bit

Whenever we had a hands-on using the LG Optimus 3D, the smartphone could record 720p 3D videos at rate of 30 fps. Even so, in standard definition video recording, it might record 1080p videos at 24 fps. Now the Optimus 3D’s release was delayed, and there appears to be a valid reason for that

GSMArena claims that the frame rate for capturing Full HD 1080p videos has been bumped up by a few frames. Right now, the cell phone can record 1080p at 30 fps which isn’t a very big rise, but is certainly quite a bit to change at the last minute. It appears like ever since the smart phone was announced, LG ran tweaking the video performance of the Optimus 3D.

A lot of companies usually end up boasting about such achievements. And strangely, LG hasn’t done that. Will it mean that they’re working on some other update, too and are planning to announce these updates together? Time will inform. Let’s hope the other update is a little higher.

Is This The 4G LTE Motorola Xoom 2 Photo?

The long awaited Motorola Xoom 2 that is likely to debut with 4G LTE capability may have just broken cover at the FCC.

The followup to the somewhat discouraging Motorola Xoom (which incidentally saw a $100 price drop just yesterday), measures in at 259mm long and 166mm wide.
Although it was originally expected that the Motorola Xoom 2 could be the first do debut with the new NVIDIA quad-core processors (expected to be accessible in August), the leaked FCC prints claim that MM may be cutting it very close, even suggesting that it may be sticking with a dual-core instead due to the hasty appearance.

Motorola Xoom 2

Because of the dimensions, we are definitely looking at a tablet here so that part is confirmed, plus the fact that it has both LTE and CDMA antennas confirms its headed to Verizon Wireless. Besides that, everything comes in as pure speculation.
Will you be interested in a Motorola Xoom 2 or are you now awaiting the next row of cheaper Android tablet PC’s? (e.g. Archos G9, Huawei Honeycomb 3.2 tablet, ASUS Transformer 2, etc).
